Golf de Treffieux is a new 9 holes golf course and driving range, set in the wonderful countryside of the Loire Atlantique.

Golf is a rapidly growing sport in France and Golf de Treffieux offers an inexpensive opportunity for everyone to play.

Set in 21 hectares (53 acres), the course provides an interesting and challenging game for players of all ages and ability.  The course, a par 35 of 2550 metres (2800 yards) opens with a 465 metre par 5 and has two very nice par 3’s.  The feature hole is the 6^th, a short par 4, a ‘risk and reward’ hole, with an island to drive over in the middle of the fairway......or not!  Drive over the island and you should get a par, or even a birdie, however fail to carry the island and you could be looking at a double bogey!

The course is continually being improved with work this year concentrating on the planting of new trees, development of the tees and further work on the relatively young greens.

There is a licensed bar on site to provide beer/wine, hot and cold soft drinks/beverages, as well as light snacks, over which you can discuss your day’s play.The course can easily be found between Rennes and Nantes, less than 10 minutes from the main motorway, RN137.  Golf de Treffieux is only 15 minutes away from the picturesque market town of Chateaubriant.
